An Irish market research firm has just added a new offering, “Power Lawn and Garden Equipment Market Report 2015-2019,” with single-user access to the publication priced at $2,500. Prepared by Dublin-based Research and Markets, the report considers
– among many other influences – whether electric equipment will continue to increase in popularity with American consumers and landscaping professionals, as well as the likelihood that robotic lawn mowers will gain a substantial share of the U.S. market over the new several years.
The research highlights a number of specific companies, including John Deere, Husqvarna, MTD Products, Toro, Ariens, Briggs and Stratton, Friendly Robotics, GreenWorks Tools, Honda Motors, Stanley Black and Decker, Stihl, Textron and Zucchetti Centro Sistemi.
In a news release on the new report, Research and Markets states: “Manufacturers of power lawn and garden equipment are increasingly incorporating cutting-edge technologies to enhance productivity and income. The introduction of robotic and battery-powered outdoor lawn mowers has increased sales on both a per-unit basis and overall market basis.”
The researchers say the landscaping business in the United States “has gained considerable momentum” in recent years. The construction of decorative structures, patios, ponds and “green winding paths” is gaining traction in the U.S. market, the report summary states. It also observes that seasonal variations have a major impact on lawn and garden equipment sales and inventories.
The report considers sales of lawn mowers, turf and grounds equipment, trimmers and edgers, as well as some parts and attachments, to residential, commercial and institutional customers throughout the United States.
