The National Association of Landscape Professionals announced that it has partnered with Cornell’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management to provide the education for the Leaders Forum (formerly “Great Escape”) in Los Cabos, Mexico, February 25-27.
The education sessions will be developed and led by management lecturer Risa M. Mish and Cornell’s associate dean for executive education, Allan M. Filipowicz. Attendees will take a leadership assessment ahead of the conference so they can learn to develop their particular style of leadership.
In a news release, NALP said the educational format delivered by Cornell will be highly interactive and include real-world scenarios and case studies to illustrate key concepts.
NALP’s Leaders Forum will be held at the Hilton Beach & Golf Resort at Los Cabos. The educational sessions are approved for Landscape Industry Certified recertification at 1 CEU per hour of instruction attended. The event is sponsored by Caterpillar at the Platinum level, Bayer Environmental Science at the Gold level and John Deere at the Silver level.
