Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting has introduced an additional model to its line of high-performance LED lamps. The new T3 LED Lamp model, LNT3-2.5-W-S-LED, features an axial pattern that projects in line with a fixture’s body, making it well-suited for use with soft area lights or soft projectors.

“By adding this new T3 LED model, we’re giving landscape lighting professionals the ability to more closely match their lamp choice to the application at hand,” said Cruz Perez, Vista’s vice president of sales and marketing. “As a result, they can create more unique, flexible designs …”

Vista’s pre-existing T3 LED Lamp model, the LNT3-2.5-W-D-LED, projects light in a perpendicular fashion that’s appropriate for applications where a shade or reflector on the fixture helps shape the lamp’s output. The new LNT3-2.5-W-S-LED model is better for fixtures used in soft lighting applications without shades or reflectors.

Backed by a five-year warranty, Vista’s T3 LED Lamps use up to 80 percent less energy than standard halogen lamps, vista_prof_hzaccording to the manufacturer. Vista says the new model is designed to closely match the performance of halogen lamps, making it possible to mix them with halogen fixtures on the same lighting projects. Their low wattage draw also allows for the installation of more lamps per cable and transformer.

Constructed from corrosion-resistant material that dissipates heat, T3 LED Lamps feature a 30,000-hour lamp life that reduces maintenance, annual re-lamping and lamp replacement costs. Dimmable with Vista’s vPRO and most other magnetic transformers, T3 lamps have an operating voltage of 9V to 15V (AC/DC), virtually eliminating voltage drop concerns.

Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting says all of its products are made at the company’s headquarters in Simi Valley, California.
