Bob Dolibois, former chief executive of the American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA), will be the keynote speaker at Green & Growinâ 16, which is set for Jan. 11-15 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Dolibois, who led ANLA for more than two decades, will look back on the green industryâs coming of age but also share his perspective on where itâs headed.
âBobâs perspective, particularly regarding what lies ahead, is a must-hear for our industry,â said Corey Connors, executive vice president of the North Carolina Nursery and Landscape Association. âWeâre honored to have him share âthe World According to Bobâ as our keynote conversation at Green & Growinâ 16.â
In announcing Doliboisâ scheduled appearance, organizers of the conference note that the nursery and landscape industry has gone from âclipboards to computersâ and from operating comfortably under the radar to experiencing increased governmental and regulatory scrutiny during the past 20 years or so.
Dolibois will speak at the eventâs âKeynote Breakfastâ on Jan. 13 and also will share experiences covered in his recent book, âBack Then to Right Now: The Horticultural Industry Comes of Age.â
Doliboisâ presentation is among more than 80 educational sessions available to green industry professionals during Green & Growinâ 16. The affiliated G&G Marketplace, to be held Jan. 14-15, is the North Carolina Nursery and Landscape Associationâs âright-sizedâ trade show, according to the association, which describes it as the place where âcritical massâ meets âdonât get lost in the crowd.â
