As Morbark and Boxer prepare to display an array of equipment at the American Rental Association tradeshow in Atlanta next week, Boxer announced it will be introducing its largest and most advanced compact utility loader at the show, the 950HD.

“The Rental Show” is set for Feb. 21-24 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Morbark and Boxer will be at Booth 3257.

In addition to the new 950HD, Boxer will be displaying its X7 Chipper, 120 Dedicated Trencher, 322D and 525DX mini skid steers, as well as a selection of attachments. Morbark, meanwhile, will display a gasoline-powered M12RX brush chipper and its newest stump grinder, the MXG50 Track.

Boxer says its new compact utility loader boasts features normally found only on full-size skid-steer models. For example, the company says the 950HD has the industry’s highest hinge pin height, enabling it to dump over a 6-foot side wall.

The machine is powered by a 48-horsepower Tier 4 Final diesel engine with diesel oxidation catalyst that does not require after treatment. Boxer says the electronic display has onboard diagnostic capabilities and multiple mode settings, allowing the operator to tailor the machine to the job at hand. The display is equipped with two joystick operation patterns.

The hydraulics package features a hydrostatic drive with 15 gallon-per-minute flow and dual auxiliary remotes with machine pressure relief blocks on each set of auxiliaries.

Among the Morbark products on hand in Atlanta will be the “Beever” M12RX Brush Chipper.

Morbark calls the M12RX a great entry-level machine that, while lighter and more economical than the manufacturer’s M12R chipper, is powerful, compact and easy to transport.

The M12RX is available with an 89-horsepower gasoline engine from GM or a 74-horsepower Tier 4 Final engine from Perkins.

Based in Winn, Michigan, Morbark acquired the Boxer Equipment line of mini skid steers in December 2012.
