Similar in style and dimensions to standard dirt buckets, John Deere’s new grading-heel buckets – part of the company’s “Worksite Pro” attachment line – are smooth, with no lifts or edges, enabling them to create a flat surface.
Designed for Deere’s G Series small-frame skid steers (312GR, 314G, 316GR, 318G) and the 317G compact track loader, the grading-heel buckets feature a squared-off heel for back-dragging applications.
John Deere Worksite Pro attachments typically work on many competitors’ machines, as does the new grading-heel bucket.
Landscaping companies are John Deere’s clear focus with the new bucket, which Deere says is ideal for land shaping, dirt leveling and installation of new landscape for sodding, irrigation and drainage.
The grading-heel buckets are available in two sizes, 60-inch and 66-inch.
“We’re seeing construction spaces getting tighter, especially in the residential building industry, and customers are seeing the value of operating smaller machines in these areas,” said Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager, John Deere Construction & Forestry.
