Ram Commercial announces PTO availability for 4×4 Ram chassis

Ram Commercial has announced that the LBV LH PTO is now available for the 4×4 Ram chassis.

Ram reports that the RamDrive 4×4 PTO system is the best way to take advantage of the open space on the left side of the Ram 4×4 chassis for installing under-deck equipment, such as air compressors up to 185 CFM, generators up to 35 KW, vacuum pumps, water pumps and large hydraulic pumps.

The PTO System includes a modified transfer case, PTO assembly, 1 ¼-inch through shaft with 5/16-inch key, high speed bearing, plug and play wiring harness, safety decals, installation manual and shipping crane for core return.

The transfer case features an OEM equivalent 5-year/100,000-mile warranty. The PTO comes with a 1-year replacement warranty.

The PTO system is available as a Ram ship-through option. Trucks can be spec’d and equipped with the system prior to dealer delivery or installed by a dealer or upfitter.
