Angelo Michale ReighA landscaping employee was arrested after allegedly spending more than $3,000 on a company credit card.
The Ocala, Florida, native Angelo Michael Reigh has worked for Chad’s Lawn Care for five years. His boss provided him a credit card for Lowe’s to purchase items for work, but the May, June and July statements revealed he used the credit card to purchase $3,167.08 in Mastercard gift cards.
According to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Reigh purchased these gift cards at the Lowe’s in Lady Lake, Florida, and additional purchases were made at Lowe’s in Ocala.
Last Thursday, Reigh went to the Sheriff’s Annex and spoke to a detective about the purchases. He told them that it had gotten “out of hand” and that he “is having money problems,” according to Village-News.com.
He was arrested on felony charges of grand theft and illegal use of a credit card. Reigh was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on a $4,000 bond.

They say life can be a roller coaster, and for one couple in Independence, Missouri, they experienced both the ups and downs in the same day.
Korey Nagel, owner of Nagel Lawn Care, was working on the side of a client’s yard and had left his truck for a few minutes last Friday morning. When he looked back, his black 2006 Ford F-150 and trailer filled with equipment and two commercial lawnmowers were gone.
“To know that I was out, possibly tens of thousands of dollars, and with a baby on the way, hurt,” Nagel told FOX 4 News.
Korey’s wife, Kristen gave birth to their new baby girl Kynlee around 5:30 p.m. on that Friday, and Korey had to use his wife’s car to get her to the hospital.
“I had an anger deep down,” Kristen Nagel told FOX 4 News. “How could someone do something so terrible? I wish they knew how much they truly impacted someone else’s life.”
Korey shared about the theft on Facebook and a tip on social media led him to visit the Kansas City Police Impound on Tuesday, where he recovered one of his mowers. However, the rest of his equipment, including a 52-inch mower and his truck remain missing, and he estimates the theft is worth more than $30,000.
“I can’t get any of my stuff done,” he told FOX 4 News. “Yards have been skipped. Having that hanging over my head? It means that I have to think about something like that during a special time like this.”

County officials are skeptical about a recent sod installation in Montana
Sod was recently installed around the new baseball stadium at Copper Mountain Sports Complex in Butte-Silver Bow, Montana, but some commissioners are skeptical about it surviving.
The sod was installed directly on top of a gravel mix, created from remains of streets dug up to fix water pipes or install other ones. Despite the warnings from the landscape contractor who supplied the sod and the engineering firm the county pays for analysis on construction and design matters, no top soil was placed between the sod and the gravel.
“The Cleveland Browns have a better chance of winning the Super Bowl this year than this grass living into next year,” Commissioner Bill Andersen, told the Montana Standard.
Others have disputed that the same practice was done at Skyline Park and the turf has taken root and is doing fine now, and they expect the sod at Copper Mountain to do the same.
“I’m not a sod expert but I rely very much on these guys who do this year in and year out, and they say this is a tried-and-true method,” Public Works Director Dave Schultz told the Montana Standard.
Yet other commissioners remain convinced they wasted $30,000 on sod that will eventually die. While the grass is currently green, they credit the extensive watering as for why the grass is still surviving.
“They have it looking nice and green and pretty, but pretty is only skin deep,” Andersen told the Montana Standard.
Because several different organizations donated time and money to the Copper Mountain project, Commissioner Dan Callahan is concerned they will see that Butte-Silver Bow cut corners and they will not donate in the future.
