Landscaper Takes Matters Into Own Hands to Find Employees

Landscaper Hires Employees Tlc MagazineHiring the right employees for your landscaping business can be one of the hardest things to do in the industry.

Time and time again I’ve heard landscapers not finding the right general manager or crewmembers.

One Washington landscaper knows this frustration firsthand.

Lance Forsee walks the streets carrying a homemade sign begging for not money, but employees.

Forsee owns a full-service landscaping company and has five job openings, but can’t seem to get them filled, according to KomoNews.

Talk about taking matters into his own hands.

Even though some people keep moving, some are willing to walk up and have a conversation about the openings.

Since his endeavor started, he has had a variety of individuals fill out applications and has been able to fill one position.

For references, some put “Saw a guy on the street corner with sign”.

I’m not saying this is the best way to get out there and hire employees, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Hiring employees can be a long and difficult process, so some landscapers will do whatever it takes to get the right employee in the right job.
