Snow blade for Kubota units

Kubota’s snow blade takes care of snow with a 72-inch cutting width. It can be adjusted at 0-, 15- and 30-degree angles for precise clearing. Features include an electric lift actuator and an optional hydraulic angle kit. The snow blade attaches to the Kubota RTV900, RTV1100 and RTV1140CPX utility vehicle models.

The BOSS upgrades the Power-V XT

The BOSS adds wear and tear protection and fuel-efficient capabilities to its Power-V XT snowplow with the Poly Power-V XT. The Poly Power-V XT’s 37-inch flared blade wings are coated with a slick poly-surface to prevent sticking snow on its 8-foot 2-inch XT and 9-foot 2-inch XT models. The multi-position snowplow comes with standards such as the SmartHitch 2 Attachment System, SmartTouch Handheld Control and high-performance hydraulic package.

Snowplow for extreme weather

Ariens offers the Deluxe Track Sno-Thro Series of snowplows with better traction on ice and a locking differential in extreme snowfall conditions. The Deluxe models, the ST 24 ET, ST 27 LET and ST 30 LET can plow through deep snow, throw from 3 to 50 feet, contain 4-quart fuel capacities and display 200-degree quick-turn chute rotations.

Ice control sprayers for any size job

Turbo Technologies’ ice control sprayer line is designed to meet the needs of any job, ranging from 30- to 1,600-gallon units. Each unit can be customized with remote-operated booms spanning three lane widths and multi-nozzle turret booms. Customers have a choice between gas-powered and electric pumps. Optional features include spray guns for precise application.

Blizzard’s wide scraping plow

Blizzard’s 9000 HD Series plow pushes out more snow in the same amount of time as a standard snowplow. The extended full-trip moldboard can move nine feet of snow and is the first of its kind. It works best with 4×4, 3/4- and 1-ton pickups and comes with an optimized blade curl and Power Hitch 2 on/system.

Sno-Way offers tech-savvy snowplow

The Mega-Blade Revolution plow offers first-time features like hydraulically powered wings in 0- to 150-degree independent rotations and the ProControl Operating System, a hand-held LCD display with activity information and control tips. It plows in straight, scoop, box or compact transport positions. Other features include a 12-gauge steel moldboard; a SPEED-LOCK Mount System, which installs the plow in less than 30 seconds; 3-hole blade leveling adjustment and E-Z Switch Wing System.

Morton sees blue

Morton has colored their Ice Melter Blend crystals in a new visible blue form for precise application and distribution over ice. While the look is different, the formula is the same. The crystals can be spread in temperatures as low as -15 degrees. The active sodium chloride and calcium chloride compounds heat at the point of contact with snow.

Dozer blades clear paths year-round

Grasshopper’s multipurpose dozer blades in 48- and 60-inch widths remove snow, ice and slush, in addition to dirt and gravel for year-round cleanups. Adjustable blades can turn 25 degrees in either direction, and features include a foot-powered height adjustment. Other varieties include the Pro Model with a hydraulic angling capacity. The dozer blades attach to any Grasshopper zero-turn FrontMount. With the QuikConverter implement system, you can swap your mowing deck for the dozer blades tool-free.

The V-plow gets an upgrade

Meyer now offers an upgraded version of its V-Plow, the Super-V2. The Super-V2 has a 70-degree angled blade in 81/2- and 91/2-foot lengths. Its bottom-trip design requires fewer trips over an area and can hold a load through obstacles. With the touch of a button, it can convert to a straight blade as well. It comes with a three-year ROC Solid Warranty covering parts and labor and a five-year structural steel warranty.

Mowers convert to snowplows

Dixie Chopper can convert its commercial and industrial grade mowers with its effective snowplow kits, with the exception being the Dixie Iron Eagle mower. The snowplow kits max out the horsepower of its standard mower. Optional features include electric snow blade lifts. The company also manufactures customizable frame-mounted winch kits for its series of mowers.

No-fuss sprayer keeps ice at bay

The versatile S25 Spray-Pro Push sprayer from EarthWay not only disperses ice control chemicals during winter, but is also an all-around sprayer for fertilizers, pesticides and most other landscape jobs. The Spray-Pro Push sprayer operates without a gas-powered engine to maintain or batteries to install, optimizing productivity on the job with minimum unit maintenance.

Lighter plow does the job

The Western HTS snowplow was designed with lighter models of half-ton four-wheel-drive pickups in mind. Standard features are those found on a full-size, commercial-grade plow: Nighthawk halogen lamps, UltraMount one-side hook up mounting system, 151/2-inch curling radius and six vertical ribs and the series’ own Western Power Bar.

Designed for pickups

The HT Series snowplow from Fisher is specifically for half-ton pickups. For those using these four-wheel-drive trucks for commercial jobs, it’s a powerful plow that works best with a lighter vehicle. The plow still packs in all the features, including trip-edge design, a Minute Mount 2 system, and hydraulic scrape lock. The 7-foot 6-inch blade is angled at 75 degrees for efficient clearing.

SnowEx performs with polyethylene bulk spreader

The 2-yard capacity V-Maxx 8500 bulk spreader from SnowEx is the company’s first V-box-style spreader with a polyethylene hopper. The hopper and inverted “V” salt/sand baffle ensures maximum dispersion efficiency of any salt/sand ratio. The hopper is 40-percent lighter than other steel alternatives and prevents corrosion. The spreader attaches to most pickups, flat-beds and dump-beds, and runs on a 1/2 horsepower, 12-volt electric drive system for 1,800 inch-pounds of torque at the output shaft.

Plow and backdrag with one unit

Hiniker merges features of conventional and backdrag plowing in its C-Plow unit. The C-Plow functions as a standard plow with hydraulic angling and spring-trip moldboard. It does double duty with a folded over polyethylene moldboard, which fashions into a backdrag blade. The C-Plow’s split trip-edge has two independently operating halves for less wear on the machine. The plow is available in 8- and 9-foot widths.
