First Look at Bobcat’s E32, E35 Compact Excavators

E35_Building_a_Retaining_Wall_with_Extended_Arm TLCBobcat released two Tier 4-compliant compact excavators, the E32 and E35, in Bismarck, North Dakota, at the new Acceleration Center last week.

E35 Bobcat TLCWith a forward-mount instrumentation system, the excavators have the same instrumentation available in Bobcat loaders. The E32 and E35 models have 33.5-horsepower engines, without using a diesel particulate filter (DPF).

“There’s no DPF in these machines, and that’s been a very welcomed conversation point when talking with customers,” says Tom Connor, excavator product specialist, Bobcat. “It’s just another maintenance item and another switch in the machine to monitor and control.”

The compact excavators have zero tail swing, which helps when working in tight applications or around buildings. Both have multifunction cycle times and sustained travel speeds during pushing and climbing functions. These 3- to 4-metric-ton M-Series excavators also have an Eco-Mode setting.
