Takeuchi-US has introduced a new track loader, the first vertical-lift model in the manufacturer’s lineup.

Based in Pendergrass, Georgia, northeast of Atlanta, the compact equipment maker says the new TL12V2 is also the largest vertical-lift track loader in the industry.

According to Takeuchi-US, the machine delivers 45-percent greater operating capacity than its current TL12 radial. The TL12V2 is powered by a Tier 4 Final Kubota 3.8L diesel engine producing 111.3 horsepower and 284 ft-lbs of torque.

A track design with flotation pads makes the compact track loader quieter, reduces vibration and improves operator comfort, the manufacturer says. A lower cross member on the machine provides greater visibility, as does the loader’s rear cross member, the company says. In addition, the operator’s station has been revamped with a wider cabin and easier accessibility.

Takeuchi-US says the new CTL’s “Active Power Control” system provides precise control, while the TL12V2’s new 5.7-inch color display keeps the operator informed.

The machine’s design results in reduced noise and vibration, the company says, and the tread pattern produces greater flotation, minimizing ground disturbance. Also, Takeuchi-US says a new contact pad between the roller and track enhances ride quality.
