Turfco has introduced the patent-pending Torrent 2 debris blower, which the company says is outfitted with technologies that deliver maximum control over air speed, air direction, noise management and fuel consumption.
Turfco says the machine’s “MagnaPoint” technology, which also is patent pending, takes the guesswork out of debris cleanup with adjustable magnetic stops, enabling operators to set the blower angle to the most productive setting easily. The new option, which be available in May, reduces fuel consumption and noise.
The manufacturer says the Torrent 2 features powerful air volume and velocity that can handle all types of debris. Turfco says the debris blower is also equipped with the industry’s fastest 360-degree nozzle rotation. A wireless controller allows operators to shut down at the touch of a button, idle down when needed and increase or decrease blowing force.
The company is offering a two-year warranty on the machine.
Meanwhile, Minneapolis-based Turfco also has introduced the TriWave 45 Tow-Behind Overseeder, which exceeds both the speed and versatility of other overseeders on the market, the company says.
Turfco’s TriWave 45 attaches to most turf vehicles and boasts a high-capacity hopper so it can run longer and cover more ground in one job. New depth adjusters allow operators to adjust to different turf conditions and seed varieties without additional tools.
The manufacturer says the TriWave 45 eliminates seed waste by closing and shutting off the seed box as soon as the operator finishes a pass. Patented floating heads follow ground contours and curving turns.
Turfco says the machine’s patent-pending “WaveBlade” technology – counter-rotating blades on the TriWave 45 – create clean, square slits for optimal germination with decreased turf disruption.
The new overseeder carries a two-year warranty. For more details on the machines, visit the company’s website here.
