Buyers Products, a manufacturer of work truck equipment, has introduced its new line of electric spreaders the SaltDogg PRO Series.
According to Buyers, this new line is designed to accurately spread bulk salt or a salt/sand mix.
“The PRO Series is engineered to stand up to demanding jobs,” said Dave Zelis, director of sales and marketing at Buyers Products. “They spread quickly and thoroughly so our customers can move onto the next task.”
The spreaders come with a high-flow chute and 14-inch spinner for consistent coverage at high speeds. The chute can swing away for bulk unloading as well. The spreaders can come either with a full-length auger or a 12-inch pintle chain.
The PRO2000 models can fit in a full-size pickup truck and can hold 2 cubic yards of material. While the PRO2500 models can be used with a flatbed, dump truck or a large pickup truck with dual rear wheels and has 2.5 cubic yards capacity.
Each model features a top screen, stainless steel inverted Vs and a fitted tarp for material protection. Both are backed by a 2-year warranty.

One of the major features on the new plows is the QuickMount II, which allows for jack-free mounting and dismounting. The plows also have dynamic scraping and even edge wear with the Floating A-Frame.
“The evolution of the SnowDogg line considers 10 years of customer feedback, and brings some exciting new features to the plows,” said Scott Moorman, director of engineering at Buyers Products. “The Floating-A Frame and QuickMount II are the most innovative of those features.”
Users will also enjoy extended ground clearance, increased transport height and a municipal-style single-chain lift. Optional accessories like wire-reinforced blade guards and cast shoes are also available for the new plows.
