Ball Innovations won a Greener Package Award for SoilWrap – a bio-based, plantable growing container.
The Greener Package Award competition is sponsored by Summit Publishing’s greenerpackage.com and recognizes innovations in five categories that reduce packaging’s environmental footprint.
SoilWrap was designed by Greg Trabka, Sustainable Horticulture Specialist with Ball
Innovations. SoilWrap offers environmentally friendly solutions to the home gardener. The plantable, printable design addresses the massive landfill waste associated with horticultural plastic.
Ball Innovations will receive its Greener Package Award and be recognized during the
Showcase of Packaging Innovations at Pack Expo International Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 in Chicago.
