Exmark Manufacturing’s employees gave back to members of their community this holiday season through a series of donations to local charities.
The employees raised nearly $10,000 for its local United Way branch. The donation was then matched by the Toro Giving Program for a total contribution of more than $17,000, exceeding last year’s total donation. Employees raised the donations through company raffles and other activities, consignment auctions and cash donations.
At Exmark’s annual Christmas party, the Exmark Employee Council also collected food and monetary donations for the Community Food Pantry, an organization supporting families needing assistance with food, rent and utility payments. Employees donated more than $1,200 and four vehicle loads of food from its efforts.
