Komatsu appoints CEO, vice chairman

Komatsu America named Rod Schrader as the CEO and vice chairman, effective April 1. Schrader, a 25-year veteran of Komatsu America, will replace Dave Grzelak, who is stepping down.

Prior to being named CEO, Schrader was executive vice president and general manager of the mining division, Komatsu America. Grzelak served as chairman, CEO or president of Komatsu America for 15 years.

Ivor Hill, currently vice president, service, will be promoted to vice president & general manager, mining division.
