Tokyo Hotel to Unveil Rooftop Garden at Rebranding Opening in January 2013

Fujita Kanko Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, revealed a plan to open a one-of-a-kind facility, Serenity Garden, at its flagship property, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, which currently operates as Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so.

Fujita Kanko, the owner of the property, is taking over the management and rebranding the hotel as Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo as of January 1, 2013.

Serenity Garden, occupying 16,145 square feet (1,500 square meters), is on the rooftop of the hotel. The open-air, artificial garden accommodates multiple uses as a wedding and event facility and occasional restaurant.

Fujita Kanko has begun US$90 million of renovations and upgrades to the hotel, to be completed over the next three years. Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo will offer 259 guest rooms, 12 restaurants and bars and 36 well-equipped banquet/meeting rooms, including one that accommodates banquets for up to 2,000 guests.
