The 2013 Summer Garden Walk is in full bloom in Bloomington, Indiana.
In its 24th year, the Summer Garden Walk features yards full of flowers and unique landscape designs and sees between 700-1000 attendees each year, according to Herald Times Online.
Many of the yards will feature sustainable designs including bamboo fences and vegetables beds.
One garden will feature a design that moves from the front of the yard all the way to the backyard where the owners created a shady outdoor living area.
With the help of one landscaper, an owner transformed a yard into an Asian-influence garden featuring boulders, specimen conifers and Japanese maples.
The garden walk will be Saturday June 22 and Sunday June 23 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The History Center will be the setting of the special “Floral Apparel” exhibit and the event will cost $10.
