Terex has introduced the TW85 and TW110 compact wheeled excavators in North America.
The TW85 is Tier 4-compliant and features 91 horsepower. The 18,519-pound machine has a maximum digging depth of 13 feet 5 inches and a maximum reach of 24 feet 10 inches. The bucket capacity ranges from 3.1 to 12.3 cubic feet.
Equipped with a cooling system, the TW85 features a reversible fan.
The 24,229-pound TW110 features 102 horsepower and has a maximum digging depth of 14 feet 2 inches. The machine has a maximum reach of 27 feet 3 inches and bucket capacities of 5.26 to 16.85 cubic feet.
Both machines come with Terex Fingertip Control, a system that the electric proportional control functions via a roller on the joystick.
The dual-circuit hydraulics system with load-independent flow distribution (LUDV) allows all functions to be controlled simultaneously and independently of each other.
Traveling up to 12 mph, operators can choose between two-wheel or all-wheel steering.
Equipped with Terex Smart Control, both machines feature a 3.5-inch menu guide to look at data.
The drive system works independent of the hydraulics system because it operates in a closed circuit
Both machines have boom options available including standard and circular set-ups. The TW85 has a monobloc option available, which offers extra dumping height, range and digging depth.
Featuring a Knickmatik cylinder, the excavators can work alongside close objects and infrastructures.
The articulated angle on the booms can move up to 120 degrees.
Attachments are available for both machines, including standard light-material, ditch-cleaning and swing buckets, as well as hydraulic transverse cutting unit, ripper toot, hammer adapter, load hook and pallet forks.
Quick attach systems are available in either mechanical or hydraulic.
