Located at the Grasshopper Mowers outdoor booth (7542D) at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, Theresa Vail, Miss Kansas 2013, will be putting on an archery demonstration.
Vail was a Top 10 contestant at the recent Miss America 2014 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Serving as an active member of the Kansas National Guard and an avid bowhunter, Vail was originally going to show her archery skills at the pageant, but pageant officials stated otherwise. She was forced to learn opera at the last minute.
Originally form Manhattan, Kansas, Vail’s platform is empowering women to pursue male-dominant industries and activities. She has plans to continue her career in the United States armed forces as a dentist.
