To fill the gap between CTL machines, Volvo Construction Equipment has introduced the MCT110C compact track loader in North America.
With an operating capacity of 2,250 pounds, the unit fills the gap between the MCT85C and MCT125C.
The MCT110C is the latest addition to the C-Series line of compact track loaders and features a Tier 4 Final four-cylinder engine (74 horsepower/ 55 kW).
The engine uses a combustion system that cuts the emissions while increases fuel economy.
Due to the cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), common rail system and fixed-geometry turbocharger, a diesel particulate filter isn’t required.
The machine’s cab includes two consoles that provide information, including three levels of control sensitivity and operating preferences.
An optional control pattern choice is available, which allows the operator to choose between Volvo ISO and H patterns.
With an automatic idling system, the machine automatically returns to idle if controls aren’t operated for five seconds. Once the operator resumes use of controls, the engine picks up rpms to revert to the pre-selected speed.
An optional reversible fan can be fitted to the machine to remove debris drawn into the radiator and automatically clean the compact track loader’s cooling system.
Each machine is fitted with a three-stage air cleaner with active scavenging.
As far as maintenance, operators can access all points and the side entry and exit of the cab makes it possible for the operator to engage the loader arm support without the aid of a second person.
For added safety, the machine’s cab is ROPS / FOPS protected.
The C-Series can be equipped with attachments, including buckets, augers, pallet forks, trenchers, dozer blades and hydraulic breakers.
