EP Henry to Honor Veterans with HeroScaping Initiative

PrintEP Henry is continuing its commitment to America’s veterans by continuing its HeroScaping program this year.

The HeroScaping program is the company’s Active Military and Veterans Donation Program, which was launched in 2012.

The company will donate funds to veterans’ charities and will donate products to military memorials, as well as other worthy projects.

Continuing this part of the program in 2014, for every contractor-installed project registered for a Lifetime Warranty, EP Henry will make a donation in the homeowner’s name to one of two pre-qualified charities, including Fisher House and the National Military Family Association.

A large part of the program is the donation of products and contractor time to repair and improve the outdoor living spaces of military families, as well as community locations.

Any member of the community can nominate a project.

Since the program’s beginning, it has contributed more than $325,000 in materials, labor and monetary contributions to military-related projects and organizations.

Some of the 2013 Projects EP Henry donated products for and partnered with their contractors who donated their time and labor to complete include:

  • “Fallen Heroes” Firefighters Memorial in Shamong, New Jersey
  • Veteran’s Memorial Park, Oak Valley School in Depford, New Jersey
  • Independent Fire Company No. 1 in Burlington, New Jersey
  • Sean M. Flannery Memorial in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania
  • The home of Afghanistan-wounded CPL Matthew Hanes in East Manchester Township, Pennsylvania
  • New Hope Eagle Fire Company Memorial in New Hope, Pennsylvania
