The awards by the state’s weekly business magazine recognize the top performing executives in the New Mexico business community for leadership.
In his nomination for the award, Eddie Padilla, Vice President/Director of Sales & Marketing, wrote, “Gary leads by example, he is always the first one to work and often the last one to leave. Gary’s leadership skills go well beyond teaching me and others about income statements, customer service, and running a business. He allows people to make mistakes so they will learn and make better decisions next time. He allows all of us to spread our wings and take on new challenges, come with new ideas and run with them, and allows us to challenge the status quo. In my mind there is no other person I would rather work for.”
The Top CEOs in New Mexico will be celebrated at a networking reception and awards luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque.
