The National Association of Landscape Professionals (formerly PLANET) has named Scott Lindley vice president of sales and marketing. Lindley, who most recently worked as a consultant specializing in meetings, marketing, sales and management services to the association community, was selected “to expand NALP’s strategic approach to business development and to create new platforms for revenue growth,” a news release from the organization says.

“Scott has a proven track record of success in sales, marketing and business development in the association community and supplier industries and is well-liked and respected by his peers,” said Sabeena Hickman, chief executive of the Herndon, Virginia-based trade group. “We have aggressive growth goals at NALP and think Scott will play an important role in helping the association realize its potential.”

Lindley has more than 20 years of experience in the association and meeting management fields and has also held senior positions in the association supplier community. He was vice president of client relations at PCI Communications and also served for more than a decade as vice president of marketing for IMN Solutions, an association and meeting management firm.
