Ruppert Landscape, with 18 branches, hires area manager

Ruppert Landscape has hired Robert Porter as area manager of its Gainesville Landscape Management branch, which is based in Gainesville, Virginia.

Porter, a resident of Warrenton, Virginia, brings 17 years of industry experience to the company. He began his career working as an arborist, then held several positions in which he performed landscape installations.

As an area manager for Ruppert, he will be responsible for the sale, renewal and production of the branch’s landscape management work, the training and development of personnel, as well as quality, customer service and customer retention.

“We are very excited to have Robert join the team,” branch manager Collins Fitts said. “His extensive knowledge of industry practices and ability to connect and communicate efficiently with employees and customers make him ideal for this position.”

Ruppert Landscape, a family and employee-owned business, provides commercial landscape construction and management with 18 branches serving seven primary markets: Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Richmond, Raleigh, Charlotte and Atlanta.
