A New Jersey landscaper was attacked last week by a 54-year-old woman with a hammer who allegedly screamed that she was going to kill him, according to police reports.

Glen Ridge Police Lt. Fred Egnezzo said Anne Podesta ran out of her house with a hammer and began to try to hit the landscaper who was mowing her yard.

Egnezzo said that she accused the landscaper, 64, of planting dynamite in her house.

Podesta had gone back into her house by the time police officers arrived, requiring them to make a forced entry.

The Glen Ridge Police Department arrested Podesta for aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. She was taken to the Essex County Jail and remained there as of Monday morning, according to Patch.com.

Earlier this year, Podesta had been charged with criminal mischief after she intentionally and repeatedly climbed a utility pole to cut phone lines to several houses, according to NorthJersey.com.
