While the American Society of Landscape Architects’ 2016 annual meeting is nearly a year away, the deadline to submit presentation proposals for the meeting is Jan. 28.
More than 6,000 people are expected to attend the 2016 ASLA Annual Meeting and Expo, which is set for Oct. 21-24 at New Orleans’ Morial Convention Center.
As always, the meeting will feature a diverse spectrum of industry experts speaking on a wide range of topics, from sustainable design to active living, from best practices to new technologies.
According to an ASLA news release, more than 130 education and field sessions will be presented during the meeting, providing attendees with the opportunity to earn up to 21 professional development hours under the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System.
Many of the sessions will also qualify for continuing education credit with the Green Building Certification Institute (toward LEED AP credential maintenance), the American Institute of Architects, the American Institute of Certified Planners and other allied professional organizations and state registration boards.
