LHD Machinery says its mini skid steer series – the LHD 2000, 2000D and 2000X – are capable of performing the work of much more expensive machines. With rubber tracks, double hydraulic arm rams and triple hydraulic pump, all three utility loaders in the series are 42.7 inches wide, which LHD says provides stability and maneuverability.
The 2000 series has a 20-horsepower Honda Engine while the 2000D and 2000X have 25-horsepower Perkins Diesel Engines. The 2000X series also adds a lockable auxiliary, variable single speed and a higher gallon per minute pump rate.
LHD says all three are light enough to be transported in a single axle trailer. Their steel construction makes the machines durable, according to the manufacturer, which says its 2000 series mini skid steers require minimal maintenance.
Tipping and operating capacities equal those of comparable machines, LHD Machinery says. A long list of universal attachments can be used with the 2000 series machines, from a standard bucket to a snow blower, a backhoe to a stump grinder, among others.
The utility loaders are a good choice for landscapers, LHD Machinery says, because of their power to load and move bulk material quickly while navigating through confined spaces.
