As part of its Worksite Pro attachments lineup, John Deere has added 90-inch Severe-Duty construction buckets that are available with a serrated edge or a tooth bucket.

The Severe-Duty bucket is designed to take advantage of the improved performance of the large-frame 332G skid steer and 333G compact track loader.

“Customers love our large-frame machines because they are powerful and highly productive, yet compact and easy to transport or trailer,” said Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager, John Deere Construction & Forestry. “When equipped with a Severe-Duty bucket, productivity is magnified, making these machines capable of doing almost the same amount of work as a larger piece of construction equipment.”

The bucket comes standard with a serrated edge that can be reversed to a smooth side. According to John Deere, the serrated side is effective at cutting a graded surface and loosening dense material such as packed gravel or frozen ground.

The smooth side can be used for more fine, finish-grade work and back dragging. The bucket teeth is an option for those who need to increase their digging ability for tasks such as scooping loose dirt or dig out roots.

The machine can easily add and remove the Severe-Duty bucket in no time thanks to the universal Quik-Tatch attachment system found on all John Deere skid steers, CTLs and compact excavators, the manufacturer says.

The 90-inch bucket is an industry exclusive and backed by John Deere parts, service and warranty coverage. For more information click here or contact your local John Deere dealer.
