CASE Construction Equipment’s six new additions to its line of mini excavators makes it their broadest range of sizes ever.
This lineup also provides a more comprehensive and feature-driven compact excavator solution to landscaping, utility, rental and construction markets, according to CASE.
Featuring a zero tail swing, short-radius or conventional design, each new model also includes adjustable boom offset for improved maneuverability and an auto-shift travel system.
Productivity is increased with an auxiliary hydraulic system with standard proportional controls, shut-off valve and easy-to-select joystick control patterns. The company also notes that a spacious operator environment is established with adjustable seating, ergonomic controls, excellent visibility and line-of-sight digital displays, which minimize operator fatigue.
The new models include:
- CX17C: 8 horsepower; 3,910 pounds; bucket digging force: 3,490 foot pounds
- CX26C: 8 horsepower; 5,520 pounds; bucket digging force: 4,740 foot pounds
- CX33C: 4 horsepower; 7,110 pounds; bucket digging force: 6,900 foot pounds
- CX37C: 4 horsepower; 7,990 pounds; bucket digging force: 4,470 foot pounds
- CX57C: 9 horsepower; 12,050 pounds; bucket digging force: 9,550 foot pounds
- CX60C: 7 horsepower; 12,940 pounds; bucket digging force: 9,190 foot pounds
Featuring a variable-width undercarriage and adjustable blade, CASE says the CX17C is good for working on confined jobsites, close to buildings and in developed areas.
A standard auxiliary flow diverted valve (CX17C-CX37C) allows operators to switch between single and bi-directional flow for use with a variety of attachments, and standard proportional controls provide precision control of all attachments with the ease-of-thumb control.
A pattern selector also comes standard, which allows operators to choose their control pattern preference. The standard Auto-Shift travel system secures travel speed and torque as ground conditions change; every C Series mini excavator features standard auxiliary hydraulics, as well as standard boom and blade guarding.
The CX57C and CX60C both include an LCD touchscreen with up-to-the-minute machine performance data and access to machine settings.
Easy-to-open panels, as well as grouped ground-level service checkpoints are featured on all models, and C Series mini excavators also feature spacious compartments for access to control valves, the radiator and the engine.
