Fisher Engineering announced the support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in partnership with SnowEx. During the month of October, Fisher Engineering is running a special promotion featuring limited-edition pink Fisher XV2 v-plows and pink lift arm kits.

Fisher says it will donate $100 from the sale of each pink XV2 v-plow and $50 from the sale of each pink lift arm kit to the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition, where purchasers can choose to make the donation in memory of a person that has been affected by breast cancer.

Additionally, attendees of the 2017 GIE+EXPO, Oct. 18-20 in Louisville, Kentucky, can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a limited-edition pink Fisher XV2 v-plow or limited-edition pink SnowEx V-Maxx G2 VX-1500 spreader.

“We are committed to supporting the prevention and treatment of breast cancer, a disease that impacts hundreds of thousands of families across the country,” said Mark Adamson, executive vice president of commercial snow and ice for Douglas Dynamics. “In partnership with our customers, we’re excited to donate funds raised through our limited-edition plows, lift arm kits and a special raffle at GIE to help bring critical awareness for this devastating disease.”

Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 at the Komen Booth located near the food court. Attendees who purchase two tickets will receive a free FIND A CURE knit cap while supplies last. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Kentucky Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

Now in its fifth year, Husqvarna says its “Saws for a Cause” campaign will drive awareness and raise funds for the non-profit and its mission as a supporting organization for men whose families are affected by breast cancer.

U.S. and Canada-based consumers can purchase limited-edition pink toy chainsaws from local Husqvarna dealers throughout the month of October. For every purchase, while supplies last, Husqvarna says it and its partners will donate $3 (for up to $15,000), to Men Against Breast Cancer.

“Husqvarna remains committed to supporting breast cancer awareness, and we are excited to partner with Men Against Breast Cancer this year to raise awareness about their mission and contribute to their cause,” said Michelle Sordi, marketing director for Husqvarna. “Their work serves an important role for caregivers, who are often overlooked in the conversation about this disease.”

“We are honored that Husqvarna has chosen to partner with MABC and continue their support and commitment in the fight against breast cancer. It is important for people to know that men play a vital role as a partner in survival side by side with the women they love as they battle and navigate this disease,” said Marc Heyison, president/founder of Men Against Breast Cancer.

Husqvarna is also holding the 2017 Husqvarna Breast Cancer Awareness Giveaway, where one randomly selected winner will receive a limited-edition pink 450 Rancher chainsaw and limited-edition pink toy chainsaw. The giveaway entry period runs from October 1 through November 15.

Consumers can find a local dealer to purchase the pink toy chainsaw with the Husqvarna Dealer Locator Tool. To enter the 2017 Husqvarna Breast Cancer Awareness Giveaway and to view official rules, click here. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. No other method of entry will be accepted.
