Ewing restructures its education program

To help contractors across the country, Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply has modified its education program to run during a regular calendar year.

“Customers can now see the full calendar courses for the entire year, as opposed to just the winter months,” said Jeffrey Knight, Ewing’s Director of Learning and Development. This will allow for more year-round options for contractors in need of continuing education credits (CEUs).

In 2018, Ewing will continue to offer its current class lineup along with new courses in irrigation, turf and ornamentals, outdoor living and business.

“New additions like Irrigation Bidding and Estimating will help contractors increase their expertise in specific areas of their business to ensure maximum profits are being made,” Knight said.

Ewing has also expanded its custom training offerings for organizations interested in group-focused training. Companies can select from more than 30 classes to meet their needs on irrigation, turf and ornamentals, outdoor living or business.

“It can be as specific or as broad as the organization needs,” Knight said. “The training works to grow employees as individuals and strengthen the company as a whole.”
