Mecalac recently introduced the TA3SH power swivel site dumper, which the company says is part of the TA3 range that is designed for small to medium jobsites and is handy in confined or crowded areas.

The company says it will be displaying the TA3SH site dumper Feb. 10-12 at booth 1896 at the ARA Show.

“We are constantly looking for gaps in the marketplace and innovating products to meet those needs,” says Peter Bigwood, general manager for Mecalac North America. “These site dumpers deliver outstanding power and performance with the flexibility to operate in challenging areas.”

The company says the TA3SH is designed to deliver superior versatility and performance. The machine is 13 feet long and 6 feet 1 inch wide, and the company says the power swivel technology features forward and swivel tipping mechanisms to allow the load to rotate 90 degrees on either side before being tipped. This, the company says, reduced the need to move equipment.

Mecalac says the range of power swivel site dumpers features payload options from 1 to 10 tons, and the TA3SH’s payload capacity is 6,613 lbs.

The company says all power swivel site dumpers feature a heavy-duty locking device, which keeps the skip facing forward while on the move.

The company says the power swivel site dumpers set the standards for equipment innovation and performance with their operator technologies.

Available technologies include Start/Stop Control, Capture and Hazard Detection. The company says the Start/Stop Control improves on-site safety, minimizes fuel consumption and increases service intervals by automatically starting and stopping the engine in predetermined conditions.

The company says Capture is Mecalac’s telematics solution, allowing rental centers and site managers to monitor unit location, distance traveled and hours completed each day. Hazard Detection uses microwave radar to provide flawless obstacle detection.

“The technology built into Power Swivel site dumpers is phenomenal,” says Bigwood. “Mecalac is the world leader in site dumpers, drawing on more than 60 years of design and manufacturing. These innovative solutions are incomparable in the industry, demonstrating our commitment to making equipment safer and more efficient for operators.”

Mecalac says each power swivel site dumper meets the latest emissions compliance standards, and to avoid DEF- and DPF-related costs, the company says engines are rated at under 25 horsepower. The company adds that all models are equipped with Tier IV engines.
