This garden, located in the school courtyard, was uncared for. A graduate of the high school was killed in Iraq, and the school officials and students decided to convert the area into a memorial garden in his remembrance. Landscapers gutted the area and added irrigation, lighting, a flagstone patio and sod, as well as annuals and bedding plants. Recently, an American flag and a plaque were installed in the garden.
