Northwest flair for extensive entertaining

Private residence, Kirkland, Washington
Landscaping designed and installed by Stock & Hill Landscapes, Everitt, Washington

The house was built on a large, sloped lot allowing the landscapers to use Hanson Creek granite to hold back the hillside. Three, 8-foot cut bluestone steps, bluestone paths, a mortared bluestone entry and several granite risers wind down to the backyard and the driveway. Simple plantings were incorporated so as not to detract from the landscaping and unusual lines of the house. Five Green Japanese Maples were positioned by crane and set the stage for varieties of white blossoms including magnolias, azaleas and hydrangeas.

Irrigation and dramatic low-voltage lighting were included to make this garden functional, healthy and exciting. Price withheld by customer request.
