2015 Ford F-150 VelociRaptor 5L V8 to produce 600+ horsepower
Ford’s F-150 Raptor 4×4 turned out to be such a success for the automaker that at one point it had to ramp up production by nearly 70 percent just to meet demand. Pretty impressive for a pickup with a base price of $44,000.

Ford turns attention to working on hybrid F-150
Ford has done some pretty impressive engineering with its EcoBoost V6 engines. Though many shook their heads at the automaker’s decision to turn its focus from the V8 toward creating a more powerful V6 in the name of fuel economy, the risk has largely paid off. Even the 2.7-liter EcoBoost packs some very V8-like power all the while propelling the 2015 F-150 to the title of most fuel efficient gas-powered full-size truck on the market. (With some help from that lighter aluminum body, of course.)

Ford Recalling F-150 Over Brake Light, Seat Problems
Ford has issued two recalls for its F-150 over issues with brake lights and seats. The first affects 950 2014 F-150s in North America and deals with an issue with the brake pedal position switch. If this switch is incorrectly adjusted it could result in a delay in the brake lights lighting up or not lighting up at all when the brake pedal is depressed.
