Candidates seeking Irrigation Association certifications will now benefit from more flexible, convenient testing options with the launch of computer-based testing.
All certification exams are available, with the exception of the step four exams for certified irrigation designer. These final exams are expected to be released in the next 30 days.
The computer-based tests are scheduled to gradually replace paper testing and will make the program easier to administrate, while advancing its long-term goal of National Commission for Certifying Agencies accreditation.
While IA will continue to partner with members, other associations and trade shows to offer education classes to prepare certification candidates, exams will be given at these sites only on a limited basis. The Irrigation Show will continue to offer certification testing.
