The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) opened registration for companies that want to attend the largest recruiting event in the industry. The PLANET Student Career Days (SCD) — The National Collegiate Landscape Competition—will take place March 7–10 at Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama.
This year marks the 37th year for the event, which is the largest education and skills competition, as well as the largest career recruiting event for horticulture and landscape students in the country.
Student Career Days brings together approximately 900 students from more than 60 schools to demonstrate their skills in real-world, competitive events and to interview with landscape, lawn care, irrigation and other companies at the Career Fair on March 8.
Approximately 50 companies participate in the Career Fair each year to meet and interview the nation’s top recruits. Many of the industry’s most influential companies also sponsor a competitive event at SCD. For more information about sponsorships, securing a booth at the Career Fair or registering for the event, visit www.StudentCareerDays.org or contact Anna Walraven at 800-395-2522.
