A love for a tractor can be very strong.
This was plain and clear to about 30 children who participated in the Make-A-Wish Maine tractor pull, according to the Morning Sentinel.
The Southern Maine Garden Tractor Pulling Club has hosted the fundraiser for six years and raised $10,800 alone the year before.
More than 400 people came out to participate in a barbecue, music and a variety of custom and antique vehicles.
Tractors are donated from the club’s child members.
The Make-A-Wish Maine foundation grants a wish about every five days, which totals 70 wishes per year. The average cost of a wish is about $6,000.
