Intimidator Group, spun off from Bad Boy Inc. a couple of years ago and now owned by the co-founder of that company, Robert Foster, and his wife, Becky, chose to spotlight its newest engine during GIE+EXPO this year.

The 65-horsepower, 800cc gasoline engine, which Intimidator says will be available in December, supports speeds of up to 60 miles per hour – “much faster than previous engine options,” a company news release states.

The 800cc will be available on the Classic and Crew models of Intimidator’s side-by-side UTVs. The Classic 4x4s are also available with a 750cc Kohler gasoline engine, 48-volt Brushless electric, or 1000cc Kohler diesel. The Crew model is also available with a 750cc Kohler EFI engine.

Based in Batesville, Arkansas, Intimidator Group says the new 800cc gas engine is optimized for torque and “delivers class-leading towing and cargo capacity.”

With the motor’s liquid cooling system, the company says, the new engine is fast and cool. Intimidator’s news release on the 800cc says its goal “was to add power and performance to our already tough American-made machine.”

Intimidator Group says its UTVs’ cargo capacity is the largest in the vehicles’ class. The company recently introduced a line of ZTR mowers to its product offerings.
