Toro has introduced its new diesel-powered commercial zero-turn mowers: the Toro Z Master 7500-D Series.

Featuring side and rear discharge commercial cutting decks ranging from 60” to 96”, the company says the adjustable wing decks of the 96” cutting deck models flex up and down to hug the contours of the terrain.

Toro says the Turbo Force cutting deck features a bullnose bumper, a hydraulic deck lift, greaseless cast-iron spindles and side bumpers.

“This new model combines the speed and maneuverability of a traditional zero turn mower with the power and productivity of a large-scale commercial mower,” said Chris Hannan, senior marketing manager at Toro. “This new mower also delivers the quality of cut that is expected of Toro products and the large 96” cutting deck will improve productivity versus smaller decks.”

With a Tier 4, four-cylinder, 1.6 liter, 37-horsepower, Yanmar diesel engine, Toro says the Z Master 7500-D Series provides ample power to handle the most challenging mowing conditions. Also featuring a 12.5-gallon fuel tank, Toro says downtime is minimized and crews are kept productive. The mower can reach ground speeds of up to 12.5 miles per hour.

Also featuring an ISO-mounted floor pan and a deluxe suspension seat, Toro says the unit is equipped with the next generation Horizon Technology.

Air Lift creates updated version of coil spring insert kit

This kit, the company says, is Air Lift’s heaviest-duty coil spring insert, which the company says provides up to 2,500 lbs. of load-leveling capabilities. Air Lift says the kit is specifically engineered for 2009-2018 coil-sprung RAM 1500 pickups. The company adds that these custom-molded polyurethane air springs are inserted into the rear coil springs, and no vehicle modifications are required.

The company says the Air Lift 1000 HD works with the vehicle’s existing suspension and does away with many problems frequently faced with hauling or towing heavy loads. The company adds that this includes squat, unresponsive steering, poor headlight aim, body roll, bottoming out and trailer sway.

Air Lift says that by properly leveling the load, squat is eliminated, the vehicle is returned to a level and stable state and braking is improved. According to the company, the Air Lift 1000 HD system allows the air springs to be adjusted anywhere from five to 75 PSI, which they say makes them customizable depending on the weight of the load.

Air Lift says that whether or not the truck is loaded, the volume of the air springs will improve the overall quality of the ride.

No drilling is required during installation, and the company says it can be completed with common mechanics tools. A fully illustrated instruction manual is also included to aid with installation, and the company says Air Lift offers wired, wireless and automatic on-board air compressor systems.
