Water creates tranquil outdoor living space
Private residence, Northridge, California
Landscaping designed and installed by
The Green Scene, Canoga Park, California

Scott Cohen of The Green Scene designed this contemporary pool and custom blended glass tile spa that includes a natural grey-cast concrete swim-up bar as a space for the homeowners to relax and entertain. The outdoor living space includes a fire pit and a Baja shelf fire feature on the rear wall. Water cascades into the spa and a ribbed cast concrete spillway connects the spa and pool and creates a soothing, rippling waterfall effect. Plants used include a mixture of trees, large ornamentals, ornamental shrubs, flowering vines, various ground cover and accent plants such as white calla lilies, white and burgundy day lilies and needle point ivy. Price: $250,000
