Buying equipment that is too small to fulfill their initial needs to save on the initial expense. Using a technology that is more labor intensive or antiquated to get the job done. Purchasing a piece of equipment instead of renting when there is low utilization and payout.

Our company will recommend the right type of solution based on the particular need of the customer whether it is desired productivity, operating cost or versatility.

Since Vermeer’s product line is so diverse there are many ways we can help them diversify their business. For example a traditional lawn maintenance contractor may branch out into tree trimming or irrigation providing they are educated on the particular industry.

Our distributors can train customers on the operation of equipment or they can help identify new technologies to help the contractor become more productive.
TLC: What trends do you see affecting the future of the landscaping market and how will your company address them?
Green industry contractors are looking for ways to become more efficient in their day to day operations. The green industry will also look not only to create a green environment but use equipment that create less greenhouse gases.
