Cub Cadet to release robotic mower at Golf Industry Show

53 Ab5 Bbv750 53 Db5 Dav750 Q 00Cub Cadet will unveil its newest mower – the RG3 – Feb. 25 at the Golf Industry Show in San Antonio, Texas. Cub Cadet is dubbing it the world’s first robotic greens mower.

Cub Cadet acquired the RG3 from Precise Path Robotics, an Indianapolis-based company that debuted the mower in 2009. Instead of GPS, the RG3 uses Precise Path Technology, a tracking program to create straight lines and produce repeatable results.

This includes mowing and rolling in a single pass with consistent overlap, and all without an operator. The ultimate benefit is freeing up manpower for other tasks on jobsites.
