3 Gadgets for Your Clients

GardenToolsandSuppliesBuyingGuide_hero_imageA lot of landscapers I’ve talked to lately say how much they love it when their clients spend time outside, actually enjoying and using their project after completion. To give homeowners an extra interest in this space, here are three gadgets you can add to their yard. These might not sell a project design or bring in money, but small gestures like these can show clients that you will go above and beyond to include personal touches.

  1. Digital rain gaugesA basic rain gauge isn’t a new piece of technology – it’s been a staple for years. But the digital rain gauge eliminates the need for clients to trudge out into their backyard during a monsoon, just to fumble with the lopsided mechanical meter.
  2. Security cameras – Often thought of as security devices, security cameras are actually capable of so much more. While they’re ideal for keeping an eye on entryways, they’re equally effective as sleuthing tools. They can check the footage if the notice some fruits or veggies are missing to see what kind of pest did the damage.
  3. Outdoor LED Lighting – At this point, it’s common knowledge that LED lighting is both more environmentally friendly and cheaper to operate than incandescent bulbs. For clients who want to enjoy their yard after dark, these are a must.
The Attachments Idea Book
